FAQs

What if my child is older or younger than the age range?
If your child is just outside these brackets, drop me a note and we can decide together.

Classes are layered so age matters less than the ability to follow instructions.
Does my child or teen need previous experience?

No. Classes are suitable for beginners as well as students already involved in sports or movement activities.

How are students grouped?

Groups are organised based on:

    • age
    • confidence
    • experience
    • registrations received

This allows classes to be organised appropriately for different stages of development.

Are the classes suitable for teens?

Yes. Teen sessions are designed to feel age-appropriate, structured, and supportive.

What if my child doesn’t settle or wants to leave?

It’s normal for some children to take a session or two to settle.

The first class is free so your child can try the space without pressure. Children are never forced to join in and are encouraged to engage at their own pace.

What if my child is nervous for the first session?

The first class is free so students can experience the environment without pressure before committing.

Most settle naturally once they become familiar with the space and structure of the class.

Is this suitable if my child has additional needs?
Many children with additional needs benefit from clear structure, predictable routines, and calm teaching.

If there’s anything important I should know to support your child, you can share it in the follow-up form after registering interest.
What happens as the group grows?
As numbers increase, the class will naturally split into age-specific sessions so older children and tweens are supported appropriately.

This will only happen once there’s enough demand to do it well.
