HI, hello & welcome
Start here
If you’ve searched my name and landed here, you probably want to understand what I actually do. Fair enough.
I’m an abstract artist, writer, and movement teacher based in Nottingham. My work revolves around strength, stillness, and emotional presence. That thread runs through everything I create.
Sometimes it becomes a canvas, sometimes a structured movement, or writing. If you’re new, this will help you get your bearings.
Art & Collecting
I create abstract canvas works for collectors and considered spaces.
The work is emotionally grounded and compositionally disciplined. It’s designed to live in a room properly. To hold its own. To stay interesting.
You can engage with the art in two main ways:
The Collector’s Vault
A private catalogue of high-end canvas pieces drawn from my archive.
Capsule Commission
A reflective written consultation that results in a single gallery-quality canvas piece created for one person or space.
If you’d rather just look first, there’s a curated selection of canvas works.
Movement & Wellbeing
Before art became central, I trained and competed in sport. Structure matters to me. So does physical intelligence.
My movement work supports strength, focus, and nervous system regulation in a way that is practical and grounded. It’s practical. You’ll be asked to pay attention.
This currently shows up in:
Children’s Movement & Development
Weekly structured classes that build strength, coordination, and emotional regulation.
Writing
Writing is part of the practice, not an afterthought.
I write about art, collecting, discipline, presence, and the emotional architecture of spaces.
You can explore:
Inside the Studio
My blog, where I publish in-depth essays on abstract art, collecting, mindful interiors, and the psychology behind the work.
If you want to understand how I think before you decide anything else, start there.
Where to Begin
If you’re shaping a space, start with the art. If you’re rebuilding focus or energy, look at movement. If you want context first, read.
Everything connects. You just don’t need it all at once.
Stay in Touch
If you’d like occasional updates on new work, essays, or openings for private pieces, you can join Studio Letters.
It’s a quiet mailing list. I write when there’s something worth saying.
