Abstract fine art for interior designers & art consultants

Elevate spaces with bold, purposeful abstract art

I’d love to hear from you if you need stunning artwork for your interior design project. I enjoy working closely with interior designers and art consultants. I’m happy to bring your vision to life with a small sample of personalised visuals on canvas or paper. Let’s connect, and if you’re local, schedule an on-site or online meeting to discuss your specific needs or explore potential commissions.

How can we work together?

Here are the options available

Original art for interior designers

I have a selection of original abstract paintings and artworks for sale in various sizes and materials.

These are not necessarily uploaded onto the website, as I might lend them out, have them at an exhibition, or have them in a gallery.

Commissions

Commissions for every budget: canvas prints of hand-painted custom abstracts and custom original paintings to match your brief and client’s needs, including size, colour, tone, and mood.

We can collaborate to paint large wall art for hotel foyers and offices, commercial properties or smaller pieces for homes.

Original artwork rental

You can rent my original unsold abstract pieces for short-term photoshoots, staging, and long-term projects like showhouses.

The agreements are made up for one month to a year from 10 – 30% of the value of the painting.

Canvas prints for interior designers

All the paintings in my fine art collections can be made (or have already been made) into high-quality rolled canvas prints.

I use environmentally friendly and recycled materials in various colours and styles to suit any space. I don’t hold a stock of prints; each is made to order.

Size & colour palette

Ready to make your living space pop with a centrepiece that practically does a happy dance on your walls?

Sizes I paint abstract fine art

From A5 paintings to extra large artworks, I paint on wood panels, canvas and paper. My favourite is the extra large art pieces when I paint on two, three or four (or more) 36 x 48 inches (91.4cm x 121cm) canvases to create a massive piece where all canvases are the extension of each other. These pieces range from 180 x 120 cm to 480 x 180 cm (two – eight 36 x 48 inch canvases).

Colour palette & medium

Imagine a stunning fusion of bright, bold, and soft pastel colours merging with whites to create a beautiful visual experience. Envision acrylic, ink, watercolour, and pens blending with gorgeous metallic shades, intricate black lines, and captivating motifs. It’s an artistic symphony that’s simultaneously vibrant and soothing.

How much does a commissioned painting cost?

To give you a general idea of costs (but not exhaustive), an A5 painting would start from £599, and a 36 x 48-inch abstract fine art starts from £6,899.

Commission process for interior designers & art consultants

For new interior design and art consultant clients

This is how I make the art commission process a breeze, and you can collaborate with me to create a custom piece (or pieces) of art that resonates with your and your client’s unique style.

The deets & your (client's) vision

To kickstart your custom commission, please send me the details of what your client is looking for, such as size, colour palette, mood board, and what your client likes. Please feel free to provide examples of art that inspire them, including my work or those of other artists. Also, send pictures of the room/space where you'd like to place the art.

In certain cases, for bigger projects and if you're local, I could visit you to see the space in real life and gather more inspiration for the artwork.

While I work in the style of my existing collections, each commission is a unique piece made just for your client. We'll discuss their favourite elements of my art to ensure their custom piece reflects their taste. We can communicate via WhatsApp, phone, or email to discuss their preferences, interior style, and the energy you want the artwork to bring to their space.

Sample work

Our collaborative effort is crucial in lowering the risk on both sides, ensuring we're on the same page, and working smoothly together. Hence, I'll send you an invoice for £200 and once it's taken care of, I'll paint a 5 x 7-inch sample for your project. I'll scan it in and show it in the space in a mockup, which you can show to your client. I'll also post the sample for you.

You can put the sample next to your fabric, wall paint/paper, furniture, or anything else you'd like to see next to ensure you and your client are happy. Your feedback is important; we'll make any necessary adjustments before we move forward.

The price quote

Once the sample is approved and we finalise details like size, type of artwork, colours and timeline, I'll provide a price quote. A 50% upfront fee is required to start the project. If you are not local (15 miles from Nottingham), I can give you a quote for the postage and packaging costs, or we can arrange for you to pick it up.

Timeline

Typically, it takes me between 2 to 14 weeks to complete a piece, as it depends upon my schedule and the complexity of the artwork. However, if you require it sooner, please let me know. I do require a minimum of 2 weeks' notice for rush orders.

Please don't forget that the time of drying the paint and preserving the art, plus the delivery or collection is extra time. Also, I might need to order materials based on your specific request / technique / colour palette/material (I'll send a detailed timeline about this with the price quote), and you might need to factor that time in too.

Finalising approval & delivery/collection

When I've completed the painting, I'll send you an image of the final piece for your approval. The remaining balance payment will be due once you and your client are satisfied with the final piece. After receiving the payment via bank transfer, I'll carefully package and deliver the artwork to your designated address if you're local to Nottingham (within 15 miles). If you are not local, I can give you a quote for the postage and packaging costs, or we can arrange for you to pick it up.

OK, I have questions...

What colours do you use (mostly)?

Intuitive Abstract Art is a personalised commission service where I create custom-made abstract paintings based on your chosen colours and personal insights, infused with my intuitive process. It’s about capturing your essence and creating a piece that resonates deeply with you.

What types of abstract fine art do you create?, representational, abstract, high contrast, vibrant, polarising

It begins with you selecting a colour scheme and providing personal insights, such as three words that describe yourself and how your friends would describe you. You’ll also share at least five photos of yourself. From there, I use my intuitive approach to craft a unique abstract artwork tailored to your preferences and style.

What types of art and sizes are you the most comfortable create?

No. I paint and digitalise the original artwork, and you’ll receive a large, environmentally-friendly print from recycled material. This way, I can have the least possible environmental impact and ensure affordable prices.

You can buy original artwork here, or read the next frequently asked question below.

Do you have the resources to create large canvas?

Yes, I provide consultation sessions via email to discuss your colour preferences, personal insights, and any specific requests you may have for the commissioned artwork. These sessions help ensure the final piece aligns perfectly with your expectations and vision.

Do you finish the sides?

You can choose between a 33.1×46.8 inch rolled canvas print (ready to frame) or a 40×55 inch canvas print (ready to hang), both of which include free UK delivery.

Do your pieces smell and if so for how long?

You can choose between a 33.1×46.8 inch rolled canvas print (ready to frame) or a 40×55 inch canvas print (ready to hang), both of which include free UK delivery.

How long does it take to complete a commissioned piece?

Typically, the process takes 2 to 14 weeks, depending on my schedule and the complexity of the artwork. Rush orders with a minimum of 2 weeks’ notice are available for an additional fee.

Can I see photos of work in progress during the creation process?

I don’t provide mid-painting progress photos to maintain the integrity of my creative process. However, once the artwork is completed, I’ll share a final image for you to approve before proceeding with the canvas print.

What should I should expect for dry time and delivery?

You can choose between a 33.1×46.8 inch rolled canvas print (ready to frame) or a 40×55 inch canvas print (ready to hang), both of which include free UK delivery.

Who will install the piece?

You can choose between a 33.1×46.8 inch rolled canvas print (ready to frame) or a 40×55 inch canvas print (ready to hang), both of which include free UK delivery.

Do you have a minimum price point to enure we both profit?

Yes, you can if you tell me this in advance after you pay the £200 deposit, reply to the purchase confirmation email to let me know.

The original painting is a 36 x 48 inches premium canvas without free UK delivery. I can drop it off if you’re local to Nottingham (within 15 miles). If not, I can provide you with a quote for the postage and packaging costs.

The price of the original painting is £4,499 without postage and packaging costs.

Can I get a discount on your fine canvas art prints?

When I paint for prints, I paint on a significantly smaller-sized material. That means the canvas/canvas pad or special paper I paint on costs less and uses less paint. It is also much quicker to paint in smaller sizes; hence, I can spare material and time and pass on the savings to you.

Once I paint your commissioned piece, I scan it in, professionally digitalise it, and send it to an art specialist printer company to print your canvas and deliver it to you. This is why you can save so much money and still get a unique commissioned piece for yourself that feels and looks just like the original. You basically pay a third of the original’s price.

Can I get a digitalised version of the artwork to use it for textiles?

You can choose between a 33.1×46.8 inch rolled canvas print (ready to frame) or a 40×55 inch canvas print (ready to hang), both of which include free UK delivery.

How can I rent artwork from you?

It’s perfect for art enthusiasts looking to add a unique piece to their collection, gift givers seeking a personalised present, interior designers needing a standout centrepiece, homeowners wanting to enhance their space with calming abstract art, and business owners aiming to elevate their commercial environment.

What makes Intuitive Abstract Art different from other commissioned art services?

It stands out due to its personalised nature, eco-friendly practices using recycled materials, and affordability without compromising quality. Each piece is crafted to reflect your individuality and values, ensuring a meaningful connection with the artwork.

How much does a commissioned piece cost?

The 33.1×46.8 inch rolled canvas print is priced at £1,500, and the 40×55 inch canvas print is priced at £1,700, both including free UK delivery.

Is there a payment plan available?

To secure your commission, a £200 non-refundable deposit is required. The remaining balance is payable in two instalments: half before the artwork is created and the remaining half upon completion and approval of the final piece.

Who might find Intuitive Abstract Art less suitable?

Due to the bespoke nature of the artworks, this service may not be suitable for those preferring minimalist or traditional art styles, individuals who need help with colour and style decisions, budget-conscious buyers seeking mass-produced art, or clients expecting immediate delivery.

Can I request specific themes or motifs in my commissioned artwork?

While the focus is on creating abstract art that reflects your personality and chosen colours, I can incorporate general themes or motifs that resonate with you. However, the artwork will primarily be intuitive and abstract in nature.

Do you ship internationally, or is free delivery limited to the UK?

Currently, free delivery is limited to the UK for the 33.1×46.8 inch rolled canvas print and the 40×55 inch canvas print. At the moment, I don’t offer international shipping.

What materials do you use to create the artwork?

I use high-quality materials, including eco-friendly, recycled canvas for printing and various mediums, such as acrylics and watercolours for painting. These materials ensure both aesthetic appeal and environmental responsibility.

Can I request modifications or adjustments to the final artwork?

Once I present the final image of your commissioned artwork for approval, you can request minor adjustments such as colour tweaks or subtle changes to better align with your vision. However, significant alterations may not be possible due to the intuitive nature of the process.

What happens if I'm not satisfied with the final artwork?

Client satisfaction is paramount. If you are not fully satisfied with the final artwork presented for approval, we can discuss potential adjustments within reason. However, please note that the £200 non-refundable deposit and the first instalment secure your place on the waiting list and cover the initial costs associated with the commission process.

Can I see examples of your previous commissioned artworks?

Yes, I have a portfolio showcasing past commissioned pieces that demonstrate my style and approach. Viewing these examples can help you understand the range and quality of work I create. You can see them on this page, just scroll up, or go to my art shop.

Is framing included with the rolled canvas print option?

Framing is not included with the 33.1×46.8 inch rolled canvas print. This option allows you the flexibility to choose a frame that best suits your decor preferences. The 40×55 inch canvas print, however, comes ready to hang.

Can I commission multiple artworks for different spaces or occasions?

Absolutely! Whether you need several pieces for other home rooms, gifts for loved ones, or artwork for various commercial spaces, I can accommodate multiple commissions. Each piece will be individually crafted to meet your specific requirements and preferences.

What happens after I pay the deposit to secure my commission?

After spending the £200 non-refundable deposit, your place on the waiting list is secured. You’ll then receive a confirmation and can expect further communication regarding the start date of your artwork creation. The remaining balance will be due in two instalments: half before the artwork creation begins and the other half upon completion and approval of the final piece.

Can I request a digital mockup or preview of the artwork before it's painted?

Due to the intuitive nature of the process, I do not provide digital mockups or previews of the artwork before it is painted. However, I will share the final image of the completed artwork for your approval before proceeding with the canvas print.
